Make up rhymes for your child’s name throughout the day like "Snowy Chloe." It’s okay if they’re silly!
Rhyming games are a great way for children to learn to play with language and hear the different sounds of language. To help your child make connections between letters and sounds, try using cut-out letters or alphabet flashcards while you rhyme together. Point to a letter and then create a rhyme, using that letter as the beginning sound for the new word.
