Write a note to remind you of something you want to do today. For example, “Pick up milk at the store.” Show your child the note, and help her write a note about something she wants to do. Put your child’s name at the top of her note.
Print and writing will be more important to your child when she sees that they have a purpose. Let your child see you and help you write for a reason, like making a grocery list, addressing an envelope, or writing a thank you note.
